PBBM SPEARHEADS MILESTONE CEREMONY FOR BATAAN-CAVITE INTERLINK BRIDGE PROJECT.  President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. led on Friday, March 31, 2023 a milestone ceremony for the detailed engineering design of Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge (BCIB) Project at the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) in Mariveles, Bataan.  The President was joined at the ceremonial switching of BCIB geotechnical investigation drilling equipment that marks the official launching of DPWH biggest infrastructure project to be implemented under his administration by Senator Mark A. Villar, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, Bataan Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, Cavite Vice Gov. Pinuna ni Senator Risa Hontiveros ang hakbang ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na humiwalay sa International Criminal Court (ICC). Sinabi ng Senadora na isa itong malaking pagkakamali. "His decision to disengage from the ICC is a mistake and will only isolate the Philippines at a time when countries have been trying to forge alliances" Ito ang naging reaksyon ni Senator Hontiveros matapos ipahayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. ang kanyang pagka dismaya sa desisyon ng ICC na tanggihan ang apela ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas na suspindihin ng nasabing korte ang imbestigasyon nito sa drug war kayat minabuti ng Pangulo na putulin ng tuluyan ang ugnayan ng Pilipinas sa ICC.

Ang lokasyon ng pabahay project ay malapit lamang sa mga paaralan maging sa commercial at institutional facilities gaya ng barangay hall, fire station, transportation terminals, markets, malls at hospitals. NEW BJMP CHIEF!  Jail Chief Supt. Ruel Rivera assumed as acting chief of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) on Monday. Rivera, then deputy chief for administration, vowed to continue the programs of outgoing BJMP chief Jail Director Allan Iral, who is set to step down from the service this June. Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. presided the turnover of command of the two BJMP officials in Camp Crame, Quezon City. In his message, Abalos expressed his full support to the newly installed acting chief of the BJMP. “I am confident that you have the competence, General Ruel [Rivera], and the ability to lead the BJMP in ensuring the vision of the Bureau to efficient and effective implementation of the J.A.I.L.
